Dr. Moon's researches have been funded by National Science Foundation (NSF), Defense Advanced Research Program Agency (DARPA), and National Institute of Health (NIH). She is the recipient of NSF CAREER Award (2013). She won President's Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2011. She has authored and coauthored more than 20 journal publications. Many of these publication have been cited by other research articles and total number of citation is over 3000.
